Couleur Rubin

Couleur Rubin exemplifies the excellence of performance breeding and is one of the four licensed sons from the esteemed mare, Grannuschka, who holds the States Premium and Elite titles. All four sons have achieved remarkable success in the world of sport.




Showjumping Stallion Couleur Rubin (Cordalme Z x Grannus)


From a young age, Couleur Rubin caught the attention of many when he was named a Premium Stallion at the 1998 Oldenburg licensing. He further proved his prowess by receiving a perfect score of 10 at the 1999 stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf. In 2001, he became the reserve champion of the 5-year-old jumpers at the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf, following numerous victories in A, L, and M level classes. The following year, he continued to impress by achieving high placements in the 6-year-old jumper classes at the Bundeschampionate and was honored as the VTV Oldenburg Stallion of the Year.

Under the skilled guidance of the internationally acclaimed rider, Ludger Beerbaum, Couleur Rubin enjoyed great success. In 2010, he emerged as the champion of the CDI4* 1.50 meter Championat der Stadt in Basel, Switzerland. He also secured second place in the Masters League Final of Frankfurt, third place in the Grand Prix of Neumunster, and fifth place in the Show Jumping World Cup in Leipzig.

Throughout their partnership, Couleur Rubin and Ludger Beerbaum amassed an impressive record of achievements. They secured second place at the 2007 CSIO5* in St. Gallen and claimed victories in the 2007 Mercedes-Benz Championat von Hamburg, the 2007 Lau Baule, the 2008 Munster CSI3* Preis Der Sparkasse, as well as double wins in the 2008 Verona Class 5 and Munich Lexus Hybrid Trophy. In 2009, they continued their winning streak with victories in Gothenburg and a second-place finish in the German National Championships in Munich.

In 2012, Couleur Rubin retired from the sport, rightfully earning his place as a highly sought-after breeding stallion. His sire, Cordalme Z, also achieved international success under Gilbert Boeckmann and has been widely acclaimed as an ideal sire for jumpers since the beginning of his breeding career.
